FIVE STARS! Once again we were delighted with the steadfast diligence of Glanvilles, and especially grateful for the hard work of Darren Edwards (Senior Associate Solicitor, Corporate and Commercial Property) and his team, helping us through the process of legally splitting our premises at 28 North Street in Chichester, granting a new lease for a bespoke ground floor trading location for our new tenant, and thereby creating a new 180m.sq upstairs demise for long term rent or for sale, for a developer to convert into a 3 or 4 bedroom residence. Where do I start, my inkling is, it may be best do that, er, at the beginning! Well in 2009 I ask an Estate Agent friend who is the best person to consult re Lease extensions as I had bought a very long list of flats with very short leases. He informed me that Jon Tawse (Glanville's, Fareham) was the best, by a country mile. Despite not knowing what the difference between a 'country mile' and a regular mile, I was moved to I followed his sage like advice. Jon negotiated with over a dozen Freeholders on my behalf with such aplomb that I even got some extensions completed for a cursory "admin fee" of just few hundred pounds! To say I was very satisfied with Jon's s service would be a gross understatement. Similarly I have also received advice and services from Nicola Cookes West and Scott Richardson, also from Fareham Office, which has always been excellent. More lately I meet Gareth Maddern (Glanvilles, Chichester) two years ago, as we are shareholders of a small block of flats. I was very impressed by Gareth with his volunteering of his free time to the Block and his friendly charming manner and was also extremely helpful with helping others within the Block on legal matters, which didn't have to, but did so.
