We instructed George Passey to carry out a RICS Home Survey Level 3 on an 1860s property in Gargrave during April 2024. All communication was very friendly and efficient when arranging the survey. The report received was extremely detailed and gave us the confidence to proceed with the property purchase, which we completed on in July 2024, knowing that there were no serious or urgent issues. It also clearly outlined all the areas we should consider for maintenance and improvement in the short to medium term, which will be very helpful to us ongoing.

We instructed George Passey for a level 3 survey on an older property and we’re very pleased with the service and the report itself. We didn’t have any need to discuss issues in detail as the report was clear and comprehensive but I have no doubt they would have been happy to provide further constructive advice if we had requested it.
The cost was also well below that quoted by a company recommended by the estate agent, and I do not think we would have got any added benefit from any other surveyor.
