Gent law were absolutely fantastic. We went with Gent following a recommendation from our mortgage broker. Despite not being local, we went with them based on the strength of other reviews and their reasonable fees.

We had the purchase of one property fall through due to the seller pulling out and Gent very kindly reduced their legal fees as a goodwill gesture.

We stuck with them for our second purchase and from the start Anees was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and thorough. He guided us through the process with clear explanations and kept us informed at every stage. His attention to detail gave us complete confidence that everything was being handled properly. A lot of our email contact went via Oliver, who was always prompt with responses and made sure any questions we had were addressed quickly.

We exchanged and completed on the same day, which went through without any issues.

Even though very remote from their office, and initially a little reluctant about using a "distance solicitor" , I found Gent Law excellent. Granted no chain either end, it took 2 months from memorandum of sale to completion. They reacted quickly both to my limited requests, and passing on questions from the buyers solicitors and looks it looked like bouncing them back. Of course this relies on the seller being efficient in answering questions. Upon completion monies were in my account within a couple of hours
