Alex Kennedy represented me in an unfair prejudice case for the best part of three years. Alex is a nice guy but wasn’t I felt up to the standards to deal with a top, top opposing level solicitor at knights (represented by the opposing party) which left me in an extremely vulnerable potion regarding my shares and getting fair value.

I received audited accounts 3 months late from company directors with conflicting information on companies house and Alex wouldn’t/couldn’t do anything. I wanted to pursue a claim against the director on behalf of the business but Alex wouldn’t/couldn't. I felt all Alex wanted to do was get my shares valued and sold and onto the next one. Many other errors and /or disagreements went on which are too long for a google review.

The final and main point was when I did sell my shares Alex Kennedy and Gannons negotiated the deal poorly from a tax perspective costing me hundreds of thousands of pounds. I have since sought separate legal advice and an ombudsman filing.

I contacted the owner Catherine Gannon to inform her of my case. I have had limited responses to emails and in some cases no response at all.

Safe to say I wouldn’t use again or recommend. If anyone from Gannons wants to discuss my review on google or my case they know how to contact me.

I'm 50yrs old. I have a mortgage. And apart from that, I've never had to work with a solicitor before.
I have friends in work in Law, including Judges. To be already confident that they don't work with any conflict of interest, so when my Employer suggested to use Gannon Solicitors, I took that advice.

My HR said "They will take you through it all, and we have an existing contract" and they were so right!!

Jason called me to arrange a call to go through it. Not an email, with links to FAQs.
Having a two-way conversation with the person managing this built trust, and he answered questions I had, and didn't even think about, for me to 'not worry about this'.
It's a stressful time right now, and Jason relieved me of all that from thar initial call.

On the actual call itself...It took me 12 mins to fully read the entire document to be prepared.
I had two questions.
Jason again put me at ease at the start of the call. Chatting about things, like you'd do for the first 5 mins of most meetings.
Super comfortable, having a standard norm like that. Plus Jason gave his background, which gave me a chance to have a sip of tea and feel in good hands.

And then, on to business...I felt that I needed to reply back, to confirm understanding. And whilst I was looking at a clock, I felt that Jason had all the time in the world to cover it all.
SUMMARY:
If you're in need for support over a mutually agreeable termination of contract, Jason is an expert!!
