If I could provide a ZERO star review I would. I feel conned and let down by their blatant closing ranks on a claim that was not my fault even though the third party admitted FULL responsibility from the outset over 14 months ago and yet Gallagher Bassett, the Loss adjusters, and CARROLLS who insured the building refuse to give me back my excess. If this happens to you go immediately to register a complaint with the FSA insurance ombudsman. I have.

My boyfriends car was hit by a bus who are insured with GB, we were worried at first from reading some of the reviews but everything went smoothly from logging the claim with them to being paid out a fair settlement on the car, the whole process took a number of weeks for which we had a hire car for the entirety of and then some. 10/10 not much hold time, simple processes and easy to deal with. I work in motor insurance and couldn't ask for more.

Nothing short of atrocious to deal with. Their driver decided to drive into my neighbours car which subsequently hit mine - on Xmas day. Gallagher Bassett immediately threw me a lifeline pretending to be fully able to help and resolve my damage swiftly and professionally. This was a complete lie.

It's now February the 14th, I've had to do all the chasing, both cars are sat on the public road, damaged. Both are written off (chased, again), only my neighbours has been paid for (but still not collected) and we have both received false and misleading information about who is recovering the cars.

No one in the teams at GB seem to have any idea what on earth they are doing. Copart were given completely wrong information about me (My Reg - Make and Model, but inexcusably the initial drivers name, address and number!) and I feel this company are just hell bent on using smoke and mirrors to get folks to give up.

Ombudsman has been contacted for initial advice.

AVOID where you can, and force your own insurance company to deal with these jokers.

Over 30 phones call, not been answered once.
Emails sent, not been replied to once.
Left many messages with the promise "We will get back to you in 24 hours", guess how many times I've been contacted. Yep, not once.

**Update**

Finally managed to get through, when I did I got moved into the repair company and everything was sorted in a few hours.

If you can get hold of someone, they seem ok. It's the getting hold of someone that's the hard part.

But there is no excuse for not replying to emails, or not ringing back if they claim they will. And the lack of contact during what is a stressful time really makes life unpleasant.

This so called excuse for a reputable insurance company is the most frustrating,non caring ignorant lot I have ever had to deal with. It took me about six months to get my claim for compensation acknowledged, only to be told that as I had no financial loss, as my claim for stress and inconvenience did not warrant moral compensation.
In fact they totally dismissed my claim out of hand.
Very disappointed and disgusted.

Very bad experience with them, completely slow in response. We pay insurance for what reason? We shouldn't have the need to chase issues up everyday. They charge you a premium to do this on your behalf. But unfortunately these insurers are devastating. I will never recommend this insurance company to anyone in the taxi trade. Along with the brokers go by the name of (milestone insurance brokers)

CSA Administration, part of Gallagher Bassett Int, which handles travel insurance claims for Staysure among others is slow, disruptive and incompetent. It continually asks for the same documentation and information in a frustrating ground hog day. I have been waiting SEVEN months for my claims to be processed and I'm still being asked for documents they have been sent several times before. Ironically, Staysure has a 5 star Defaqto rating and equally high ratings on Trust Pilot. It is totally undeserved given that they wash their hands of their customers the moment they need to make a claim and leave them at the mercy of an ever-changing number of personnel at CSA.
