I called in without a booking when the exhaust broke on my car en route to my holiday destination. Sam was incredibly helpful and put himself out to get me back on the road with a temporary repair, explaining exactly what he was doing. Reliable, good value and most importantly honest. Always take my car to Sam for MOTs. Also asked him for a second opinion recently when I was told I needed brake pads and disks replacing (after a service by a well known global car brand) after hardly using my car during 2020/21. He saved me hundreds of pounds as the the pads and disks were hardly worn.

Went in for an MOT.....came out with a greater knowledge of how to look after my car.

Met Sam today who was really friendly and talked me through each bit of the MOT test. He took the time to physically show me how bits worked and which bits of the car needed attention in the future. There was no hard upselling and I'm really happy I found them.

Will definitely bring my car here again.

I've been using Sam for about twenty years and have always been delighted with the service.
You know with Sam that you will never be ripped off and his Mots are top quality.
If there is a problem Sam clearly explained what the issue is and there are no issues about things being invented unlike some places.

I had trouble with a wheel on my van and the gentleman who was working there couldn't have been more help if he'd tried. He changed the wheel and sorted a couple of bits out as well, nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend this garage for anything you need doing.

Just had my mot done again with sam. Had to haha my clutch replaced very pleased. A very honhon skilled man as his son. I always take mm car to sam. Sam is probably the fairest tester in Derbyshire or even in the country and I'm not exaggerating this!. He WILL NEVER rip a customer off. He would literally does the test with you so no mystery advisories or repairs that you haven't shown about. I can't think of anywhere else as honest as Sam Furniss. 😊
