I was about to retire and needed advice regarding some key decisions and forward planning. My UNISON rep at work let me know about a free initial consultation which was available through Quilter Financial Planning service. I contacted Quilter by phone and quickly set up a telephone interview for a convenient time (just two days later) with Fraser Hunt.
Fraser sent me a one click link to enable our meeting to be conducted face to using TEAMS online. This greatly enhanced the experience.
Fraser contacted me at the arranged time. He was knowledgeable and completely understood my queries. He answered them in an uncomplicated way and made some comparison calculations regarding my lump sum pension and how many years it would take to reach the break even point if I took the lump and reduced associated annual income. Also, Fraser also (unprompted) offered advice regarding Inheritance tax thresholds. He cover all the topics I had concerns over and completely put my mind at rest. I am now sure that the financial decisions I am making for the future are the right ones.
Fraser was personable, very approachable and knowledgeable. He gave me the contact details for his services should I need any advice in the future. This initial consultation was very worthwhile and free of charge! I would not hesitate to thoroughly recommend Fraser and Quilter.

A brief but clear introduction to Inheritance Tax planning by Fraser which would be useful for people who have a basic knowledge of IHT. It was pity that the session was time limited.
