I went to First Point with my partner to request a concessionary bus pass. We were helped by a gentleman in the Library area. He proved to be very pleasant and helpful. In general all the staff we encountered appeared to have a great attitude.

I visited First Point in Telford in order to apply for a concessionary bus pass. The customer advisor informed me that I needed to apply to Shropshire (not Telford) because of my address. After that pronouncement, she seemed to lose interest. On my further enquiry, she was unable to tell me where suitable nearby libraries were situated, for a Shropshire application, though she briefly mentioned Albrighton as a possibility. I had hoped for some fuller information, and a willingness to help. I enquired about online applications but was initially told by the customer advisor that documents would have to be presented in person. Later she said that possibly documents could be uploaded. She was unwelcoming (initially spoke to my back), appeared disinterested (bored) and did not volunteer any helpful suggestions, except to 'call them first'. In comparison with the fantastic surroundings of the Southwater First Point, her performance was very lacklustre. The visit was therefore a waste of time, and I had to make a fresh start with my own research. Not impressed.
