I had a great experience with Adolfo Marquez in conveyancing. The process was lengthy and complicated. There was a lot of pressure from the chain trying to speed up the process, and Adolfo's role as a solicitor was crucial as he ensured that my best interests are protected. Purchasing a home is stressful for a first time buyer and trusting your solicitor is very important - I would highly recommend working with Adolfo.

Sophie Jenkins took my case in autumn 2023 but she would never respond to my email nor to my phone calls. Her assistant Hannah Keeley is useless, too. They didn't respond to my email in early January 2024. When I emailed them today, March 2024, I was told they both left the company. They didn't even have the decency to let me know they had abandoned my case. I can't believe people like that work as solicitors. I bet Sophie's moved on to become an injury (no win, no fee) claims solicitor. Avoid at all cost. Wasted my time (about 5 months).

Zero stars! I contacted them regarding (possible) fraudulent use of my home address. I'm STILL waiting for the promised call back to explain!
Based on this experience, I wouldn't trust them an inch. Communication and customer service is utterly atrocious. Avoid at all costs.

Absolutely terrible firm! AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I purchased a property as a first time buyer and had a Sophie as my conveyancer. She was nice enough on the phone but communication was awful. She would never respond to emails from either me or the estate agent and when I tired to call her the line cut off half the time.

She told me that she had to raise an inquiry with the lender. As time dragged on she said she kept chasing it with the lender but after two months I called the lender myself and they said they had not heard from her at all. This eventually dragged on and I lost the property. I even escalated to her boss and just got fobbed off with the same thing. They are just either incompetent or lying.

No waste your time with this firm
