I used Environet to remove some Knotweed, I found in a house we bought. The initial contact was positive, they came and did the survey, they helped and advised when the previous owners were refusing to pay but then the service has been poor.

On the day of the removal through miscommunication they didn't bring a digger. I had to source a digger from a local hire company and pay for it. I then had to chase Environet to be reimbursed.

There was then a dispute about replacing the soil taken away with new topsoil. Something they initially said they would before saying it was a mistake. They agreed to it but I suspect this led them to only scraping away the top 30cm or so of soil, so they wouldn't have to supply so much new clean top soil. The top soil they provided wasn't graded, it was pretty stony and poor stuff, even the person from Environet who was doing the work said he was expecting better stuff.

9 months later we have regrowth and initially they tried to fob me off with treating on site despite the initial work being to dig and remove from site. After a few emails back and forth they agreed to dig it up (by hand this time) and head office will dispose of it. I was told someone would be in touch in 2-3 weeks (that was 7 weeks ago) and upon chasing today, I am told again someone will be in touch in 2-3 weeks.

The service from the day they removed until now has been very poor and I wait to see how they get on with removing the regrowth.

Contacted Environet about invasive bamboo removal. They charged £400 to come and survey the impacted area, and I was told I had a 2m x 0.2m impacted area. They then sent me a quote for £6.5k to remove. Samir and his team are ripping people off and they make the money from the initial survey fee. Since then I have paid a different company to remove the bamboo and it took them 3 hours and cost £500.

I used Environet following a recommendation to help with invasive Japanese Knotweed in my garden. Mathew Day was the main person I dealt with and he was excellent. Very professional, responsive and managed to co-ordinate with other contractors working on my property to remove the knotweed. I would definitely use them again because their knowledge and experience is second-to-none.

Thanks a lot Richard and Will..Richard was able to book us an assessment visit very quickly regarding the encroachment of evasive running bamboo in our garden .. Will completed the assessment visit,we found him to be very professional, but also friendly and easy to talk to. When we contacted him after his assessment report was completed for advice , which he gave...he gave us the time to talk through our anxieties, although he was very busy.

A very good experience! I had a major bamboo problem which involved removing the root-ball ( size of a small planet ), and removing adventurous rhizomes form under my neighbours patio. Will and his team completed the job without fuss in 3 days and left the garden in landscaped condition. This is a very professional operation; always just on the end of the phone. The whole team - Sally, Richard et al. seemed to know exactly what was going on with the job. (and my neighbours were very happy too.)

Invasive bamboo was turning my back garden into a jungle. After doing some research, I realised I couldn’t tackle it on my own. I’m so glad I found Environet. Everyone was helpful, professional, punctual, and respectful of my person and property. Now that I have my back garden again, I’m looking forward to enjoying it once more.

I want to thank Richard at Environet for his prompt and correct identification of a visting plant that we didn't recognise. A very helpful service, thanks+++++. Fortunately it's not a Japanese Knotweed but a Himalayan Honeysuckle - a somewhat less dangerous and more attractive alien species.

Thanks a lot Richard & Luke for a Very quick, and helpful service. I sent an enquiry with photos of the plant through their website and then got an email and phone call back identifying the plant was not being Japanese knotweed- and all done within a couple of hours. The Survey & the report was done very quick too.
Thank you!
Ajay
