Our mortgage lender would not let us complete a house purchase until the sewage drainage system at the house we were buying was signed off as compliant with current regs, which it wasn’t. A very tricky situation which meant the chain was always at risk of breaking down. To cut a long story short, Envirocare were brilliant and managed to save the situation with a well thought out compliant design that later needed adaptation due to a proposed drainage field not being feasible due to poor percolation. They were patient with us messing them around on start dates and very flexible and accommodating. They had a great team of workmen who did the job with great skill and were always very helpful and polite. The job was completed on time, as promised, and to a fantastic standard. I really can’t praise them highly enough.

This was a difficult access that no other company could deliver. A very fair price with no hidden fees. Envirocare came to our rescue recently when our BioDisc treatment plant failed due to a problem with the soakaway which caused the tank to back fill which blew the motor electrics. Expert diagnosis and an alternative solution provided which bypassed existing soakaway. Very very impressed with the quality of the workmanship and also the super friendly and helpful team that looked after and supported us throughout . Highly recommend this company. Efficiently organised, but poor quality diagnosis cost me dear. Our small 2 year old twin pump pumping station alarm went off - the tank was nearly overflowing and the Earth leakage tripped. I called Envirocare Site Service. Someone stopped by to check, then a pumpout vehicle and Pump Engineer came.
The tank was emptied and the engineer electrically tested the pumps without removing the wiring. He concluded that both pumps were defective and needed replacing.
I bought 2 pumps and he returned to fit the pumps. They didn't work. He concluded the isolators were the problem as well, bypassed them and the pumps both worked. I later bought new isolators and replaced them.
I fitted a standard 13A plug to the old pumps and tested - they both work fine. I bought a sensitive meter. The earth leakage in both pumps is > 40 Mohms while still wet and dirty. Both pumps are good.
I conclude the alarm was caused by a freezing pipe. The isolators flooded and caused the earth leak trip.
The total cost was £1750. £700 for pumps, £1000 for engineer visits and pump out and £50 for isolators. Had he properly diagnosed the problem it would have been working 4 days earlier and cost would have been only £650.
