Enact are acting for the bank to redo our mortgage, I got an email from them but had no idea who they were. A quick Google search reassured me the were legitimate and I decided to phone them - it's my policy not to respond directly to cold calls or emails.

I was very quickly connected with Tom, he asked sensible security questions and quickly grasped the information I was giving. I also had a question arising from a land registry search and, again, Tom was on top of the information and confirmed that Enact had all the relevant details in our file. They were only small details but small details matter in this kind of business, so I think Tom and Enact earned the five stars this time.

I engaged Enact Conveyancing recently when I had to remortgage my home. Overall, I had a wonderful experience with them and do not think I ever had an opportunity where I had to raise a concern. All work was undertaken timely and was communicated well through their online case tracker. I did speak with few staff members in the process and must say that all were very pleasant conversation. They were polite, patient, understood need for the conversation and gave the right advise/ direction. If you need to leverage their services, I do certainly recommend them.

The worst company ive ever dealt with. No response no care no empathy and no solutions. Shocking and i don't know why any bank would use these clowns as a third party.

They also have zero expertise in the case handling team. They don't read the application. They have no knowledge of the steps required to complete and so have no ability to provide a date or time. In my case they have now asked for a redemption statement from my existing provider no less than 5 times.

The team are really rude when they call you. They have requested I apologise for my tone twice. No empathy or ownership and i get zero contact unless i initiate and escalation. As a Customer Experience professional of 30 plus years i can assure you this is by far the worst company i've ever dealt with.

I would all urge all lenders and all clients to keep your distance.

More updates pending wilst my case remains open and unresolved. The latest farce is they have requested the funds to complete and now required to send them back because they realised they were not ready !!!

Do not use this company.
They are extremely slow and non-responsive, if they are even working at all.

I had to phone them to chase them for updates as they ignored my emails.
When I did, I found they were waiting on information from us, which we had already sent a month ago.
They didn't inform us they needed this, they were just waiting for weeks for me to phone up I guess?
I warned them weeks before my fixed rate ended, multiple times, but there is no sense of urgency or customer care from Enact.
My fixed rate has ended now, forcing us onto a massively high variable interest rate now, and they still haven't gotten me my remortgage or updated me at all.

Enact has given us a horrible and stressful remortgage experience, I deeply regret using them and recommend others to stay away.
