Initially we was unsure whether to use EHL after a mixture of reviews online.

With first contact to EHL, they were pleasant, polite and helpful. We were guided and assisted with the welcome information forms.

Admittedly, updates were few and far between but we were assured work was always being done and advised the legal team was concentrating solely on legal work and they were honest enough to apologies for the lack of updates.

Both our Sale and Purchase cases were completed within the timeline initially stated.

Coming from a legal background ourselves, although we found the lack of updates frustrating we were pleasantly surprised and understood with hindsight, the legal staff were concentrating solely on working towards our completion date.

Thank you EHL for your service and keep up the hard work.

A conveyancer from this company named Ashley Patel incorrectly and incompetently registered a charge on our company for a mortgage on a property we know nothing about in February 2019. They have shown total lack of attention and expressed disinterest in seeking to resolve this which requires a court order. We are now in October 2020 and we have no notification of even a court hearing. Communication has been practically zero, when considering the severity of the mistake, the company should have dropped everything to get it resolved as urgently as possible. The company's attitude towards this is quite astonishing.

What a shambles.... Every bad review is true. Total lack of communication, first time I heard my solicitors (Lucinda Barr) voice was at 1610 on the day of sale. My wife and I asked to speak to her at least 4 times (we have emails to back this up). I phoned twice to speak to her but was told she is busy (All day really). Then was told they would put an urgent message to the team saying to phone me (still waiting for that phone call). They are a complete shambles, wouldnt recommend to my worse enemy. USE THEM AT YOUR PERIL.
PS If your house sale falls through dont expect any contact telling you so (unless the estate agent your using invites EHL into a whats app group).

Not happy with the service provides. They delayed the whole purchase for over 2 months. The lady who dealt with my case called Sneha was not replying to my messages or dealing promptly with the responses from the seller's solicitor. The property purchase happened over 3 months ago and I still haven'tr completion documents.I chased it 5 times already but again Sneha is not replying to my emails and if you call the line you are always on hold for so long. Definitely would not recommend.
