After one of my rental properties suffered significant fire damage, I was extremely impressed by the timely and professional response from EAP Properties. Within 24 hours of being notified, they had dispatched a structural engineer to thoroughly inspect the property and provide a detailed assessment. In fact, this was on the SAME DAY of being notified.

The engineer's report was comprehensive, covering all the key areas of concern - from the structural integrity of the building to the extent of smoke and water damage. The clear and actionable recommendations in the report were invaluable, as they provided clear guidance on the repairs that were needed to restore the property to a safe, habitable condition.

Having this expert analysis and repair roadmap from EAP Properties was hugely beneficial in expediting the restoration process. Their prompt action and thorough reporting allowed me to quickly engage contractors and get the necessary repairs underway. This minimized the downtime for the property and allowed me to get operations in as soon as possible.

I was incredibly satisfied with the level of service and support provided by EAP Properties during this challenging situation. Their commitment to a fast response and detailed technical assessment was critical in informing my repair and management decisions. I would not hesitate to recommend their services to any property owner facing an unexpected emergency.

Neighbour used their own surveyor, this lot on a third party wall agreement. They didnt respond to our surveyors requests, sent spurious demands, they were corrected, they were rude on the phone and thier fee was very high. When disputed they went straight to a court summons, we challanged them and got it reduced, though I was prepared to go to court and show they had not followed process, they are just bullies. Avoid and they are not RICS members.

1 star is too generous - really wish I had red some of these reviews before reaching out to EAP. I asked them to complete a structural survey and drawings for a property we were looking to purchase. These were meant to be delivered in 7-10 days. Nearly three weeks later (when our architect had flown down to go through the drawings and plans with us) we still didn't have anything. Months later and weeks of calling and emailing, EAP told me they weren't able to complete the survey.

I was constantly promised updates, yet received nothing and it ended up being a full time job trying to get an answer from the team. Clearly looking at other reviews they don't care about good customer service or following through on commitments they have promised.

I urge people not to be lured in my their cheaper prices since you will just be disappointed.

Please be warned. EAP are not a professionally accredited firm and have no membership with either RICS or RIBA. They are not accountable to anyone but themselves. This enables them to act in a highly unprofessional manor.

Like many of the other reviews, things started positively but as soon as our project was under way EAP lost interest. They stop answering emails, returning calls and leave you waiting over 8 weeks for a very simple report. They charge you for unnecessary visits and insist on further visits after failing to complete works as requested. Then, when it comes to taking responsibility for signing off projects, they simply walk away having left you spending £000’s of pounds for no end result.

I would also advise those considering using EAP to take into account their extremely precarious financial position. Companies House paints a very bleak picture and explains why they feel the need to offer very poor levels of service whilst ripping off their clients.

I could go on and on but please do yourselves a favour, pay a little more and use a company that is affiliated to a professional body! I wish I had taken note of the negative reviews as EAP cause nothing but heart ache and financial loss to their “valued clients”!

Not a great experience, asked us to dig down to check foundations internally which seemed to be odd, our builder confirmed he's never had to do that before, and building control confirmed they've never seen that before and didnt need to see it, but cost us an extra £200. They're initial drawings were wrong, and tried to get us to pay to rectify, which we refused. Finally building control have said they need to sign a bit of paper on completion (no idea why as they've not come out to see whether the works has been done, it seems like an unnecessary step) and they've said they can sign it but charge a "small" admin fee of £50+VAT .... Ludicrous

I contacted this company on 2 consecutive days to perform a structural survey of a garden wall. They took all the details and promised to phone me back in the afternoon on 2 consecutive days. No phone calls, and they didn't even bother to respond to an online request I made asking for a follow-up. The person on the phone also couldn't give any indication of costs as she had to speak personally to the structural engineer first.
All in all, a lucky escape for me.

We can not recommend EA property enough since the very first day they have shown 100% commitment and excellent communication skills. We are now on our third project with them and nothing has changed since. If you have any type of issue with any planning or application, these guys seem to have a magic touch.

Incorrectly specified a steel beam was required for a wall that was not supporting anything. Seemed like they just assumed it was a supporting wall without checking.. Had to chase multiple times for corrections and still waiting for a reply for compensating me for a steel beam I had cut and purchased that was never needed in the first place. Would not recommend based on my experience.
