Her work is thorough, and she took the time to explain things when needed. Her advice was sound, and I feel that she is a highly competent lawyer.

The reason that I got in touch with this firm, and with Alexandra in particular was because when I was moving into a property with my then boyfriend, I had contacted local firms to enquire about whether a cohabitation agreement was needed. Alexandra spoke to me briefly on the phone and informed me that this wasn’t something that was needed. Her advice was really helpful, and I really appreciated that she took five minutes out of her day to speak to a stranger and share that advice, which is why I kept hold of the firm details for when I did need to prenuptial agreement.

One thing I wanted to add to this review is Advice for anyone who has to deal with NHS pensions: I would advise contacting NHS pensions as early as possible if you need to deal with them as part of a prenuptial agreement, write up or as part of divorce proceedings. This is, especially if you need to gather information about your pension cash equivalent transfer value. They seem to have quite a backlog and I didn’t realise, but it can take months to get this information, but you can fast track the process, but you have to pay a significant amount of money to NHS pensions to do so. Therefore my advice would be for anyone needing to deal with NHS pensions to do this as soon as possible, and prioritise this.

Once again, I just wanted to say thank you to Alexandra and the team that have helped me with my matter, and would recommend to anyone else needing similar services.

I hope that the SRA investigation will result in the introduction of suitable controls and better practices to ensure compliance with the codes of conduct going forward.

In relation to the above review you had responded with “Dear Sir, you have never been in a client, in fact you were on the other side of a matter, your review is misleading as you have never. Had a client experience with us. Dominic Levent Solicitors”.

I never made any representation on being a client, however, I have had significant interaction with your firm which puts me in a position to highlight concerns that could be relevant for existing and future clients of your firm. Beaches to codes of conduct are serious and can put your client at a disadvantage.

On 30 Nov Levent Hasan had written to me to say “ Clearly you have not allowed myself nor my Partners reasonable time to consider numerous and serious allegations …”. Yet this failed acknowledge that my complaint had actually been made 3 months earlier. In the very next paragraph of his response, having already accepted that the partners had not had received sufficient time to review my compliant, the accusations are denied without due consideration. Mr Hasan also acknowledges in the same email that “… we will cooperate and correspond with the SRA”.

As I wrote in my email, I have asked for no direct correspondence from your firm and and I would like the matter to follow formal channels. I do feel bullied and pressured to amend my feedback which I shall not.
