We recently had the pleasure of working with Nick to help our anxious dog, Mr Pickle, and the change has been incredible. When we first started, Mr Pickle really struggled with being outside. Walks were a challenge, and he would become very agitated by cars, people, and other dogs.

Since working with Nick, we’ve seen amazing progress. At home, Mr Pickle is so much calmer, and when we go outside, he’s now completely relaxed. We’ve been able to take him on longer walks, into the town centre, and even enjoy visits to pet shops and coffee shops—things we never thought would be possible!

A real milestone has been him making his first doggy friend, Bentley, our neighbour’s dog. While he’s not perfect around other dogs yet, the improvement is genuinely night and day.

Nick’s expertise, patience, and tailored approach have made a world of difference for Mr Pickle and for us as dog owners. I couldn’t recommend Nick more highly to anyone looking for professional and compassionate dog training.

We are so very grateful to Nick for his invaluable help with our beautiful girls Poppy and Indie. Nick with his firm, yet gentle manner has taught US to modify our thinking and behaviour, which in turn has ‘reset’ Poppy and Indie into calmer and more obedient dogs. Their sensitivity and barking at visitors is greatly reduced and nighttime accidents have stopped. Much has so much knowledge and a wonderful way with dogs and people. Nick was an absolutely invaluable help... He assessed our dogs, our home and situation and made some amazingly impactful suggestions which we implemented to great effect! Can’t recommend Nick enough, huge thank you to him for helping us with our super reactive dogs. We have a 3.5 year old rehomed crossbreed who has been extremely reactive to certain noises in and out of the house. We have also struggled with separation anxiety, especially with bed time (transferring her to her own room) and being dropped off at places.

Nick helped us tackle both issues, really reducing the stress and anxiety my dog was facing and therefore helping with our stress and anxiety levels too. My dog now loves bedtime and her room to the point in the mornings she chooses to stay up there once I’ve opened the door and gone downstairs myself! She also is no longer following me around the house which is brilliant.

Her reactivity levels have therefore also reduced due to her not feeling the need to ‘protect’ me 247. Slow and steady improvements are definitely being made each day - thank you Nick!

We also have a puppy, who had picked up on our adult dogs reactivity sadly. With Nicks help we are tackling this issue and finding ways to reduce this behaviour before it gets out of hand, it is going well!

We are so happy with the progress since my 1st appt with Nick 6 weeks ago, so a huge thank you to you and I look forward to another session in the spring as summer approaches!

We were feeling very overwhelmed with a behavioural issue concerning our rescue dog. Speaking with our VET she suggested getting a behaviourist is. This was the best decision we made. Nick is very approachable and amenable. He listened to our concerns and spent a long time understanding the issues underneath everything, together we came up with what turned out to be a very simple solution and with expert assistance has proved to be extremely effective. He has offered advice and guidance going forward so that both my husband and I don’t feel alone and overwhelmed as we had. We have his full assurance that if in the future we need help, we can just contact him.

Domino our springer just wouldn't stop barking for food, going out, getting up etc and Saxon our cocker guarded the top of the stairs and had a go at me every time I went to work. Constant barking at people coming to house and at window. Six weeks from Nick visiting and advising changes to try, they are completely different dogs. No more barking unnecessarily, I can peacefully leave the house, without barking. Come home without barking, no more getting on sofas without being asked. Absolutely amazing!!!! And I was so impressed when Nick returned for his second visit, that Domino stayed calm and quiet, during his visit and when he left. I am so glad I asked for his help, and totally recommend him to everyone that has issues with their pets. He has given me some further things to try and I will. Nick has been so helpful with our beloved dog Alice. She was living on the streets for the first 6 months of her life so understandably was nervous and had a few character quirks we needed help with. We also had a new baby boy whole arrived so we wanted to get ahead of some of her behaviour. Nick was highly professional, warm and reassuring and gave us practical tools and tricks that have made a huge difference to how we help Alice navigate through different situations. A Seriously Great Help!
Nick has been a brilliant choice in helping us undo some of the psychological "damage" done to our pet puppy GSD, due to a drunken encounter on a late night walk. This left our dog very wary of strangers approaching him face on particularly at night.
Despite having had 4 other German Shepherds, and considering myself fairly experienced with dogs, I have learnt a tremendous amount from Nick in a relatively short period of time.
Knowing that I can contact Nick by phone or email anytime I need any reassurance. I would have no hesitation recommending him for any canine behavioural issues.
