We got recommneded to Digital Move from our mortgage broker. The bizarre thing is our lawyer doesn't use the platform fully and uses their own internal system. This just creates a load of confusion and you don't actually know where you are up to. Much rather have just had a local conveyancing company where I can have called into the branch to get a real update

Digital move have held us up by a week because they decided to not send forms over once we had filled them out. Our solicitor then had to chase us, which meant we had to spend half a day finding out why digital move had not done this basic task.
These are just middle men that were forced on us. Check if your solicitor has their own portal first and even if they don’t I’d avoid unnecessary middle companies like this as they add a layer of communication that just gets in the way and holds you up.

Quite poor. I am told that some questions cannot be completed if you are on a PC or an iPhone (thus eliminating a huge proportion of the population). I am all in favour of automating this lengthy process, but proper user testing is needed when such an important transaction hangs in the balance.

Easy service to use, can see progress and updates easily. Talk to solicitors and other participants in the moving process easily. All paperwork was very easy to sign and send back with it being all on the portal!

Yesterday I wrote a very long answer to my solicitor. it took me 1.5h to compose it, when I clicked the SUBMIT button all the writing disappeared and I was redirected to the LOGIN page. Very frustrating.
