We had a very nice experience with DC Law and in particular with Oliver Vale as our conveyancer.

Ollie took our case while our main solicitor was on annual leave, and we were just about to complete and exchange contracts that week.
Ollie went above and beyond making sure everything was in place and dealt very professionally and diligent the last few days ironing out any last minute problems.

All the team was very helpful during the last week and pushed to exchange and complete in record time.

If you decide to go with DC Law as your solicitors, then please ask to get Ollie as he is the best !

Avoid at all costs. Everyone in our chain has been ready for months but DC Law have been below standards. No response, never answer the phone. You have to chase them in order for them to do the basics and generally what they are supposed to do.

If you want a proactive conveyancer then go somewhere else because you will not get this here.

Suggested to us through Brown & Merry.. wish I hadn’t bothered. I had to constantly chase for any update for both the sale of our house and the purchase of our new one. Our ‘dedicated’ solicitor then went on sick leave for 3 weeks (understand this can’t be helped) but we weren’t told, nor did we have someone else who we could contact. Phone line just kept ringing and got no response on email too. Not sure why they have an app that you can’t upload signed documents to either - makes the whole process very dated and time consuming. Would avoid DC Law and use a local firm next time.

Great experience with our house sale and purchase, thanks to Kayleigh. Relocating back to Cornwall from Berkshire was a huge step and with difficult first time buyer buying our house the process could have become very stressful. Kayleigh and her colleagues in her absence kept the process moving and dealt with often strange requests from our buyers. Great experience overall highly recommend.

Tricked us into sending a sales pack to them by saying they had arranged to make payment to our agency. Spent a long time preparing documents and sent them promptly. Cheryl England then never responded and when she did refused to pay for the work we had done. We have blacklisted this company as they are not to be trusted.
