My partner came in today with a Scottish prescription for life saving medication -anti rejection tablets for having a double transplant.

Two lady’s at the counter refused to take the prescription due to coming from Scotland. No thought about the repercussions for my partner not to receive the medication. A total neglect of duty of care!

Got medication from Halstead boots pharmacy.

My daughter is visiting from. She had a double transplant in December 2022. She is now on life saving medication for the rest of her life. One of her tablets was out of stock before she left so she brought a prescription with her. The ladies who were working in the pharmacy refused point blank to even look at the prescription and wouldn't dispence it. The law is that a Scottish prescription can be dispensed here in England but has to be treated the same as an English one.
A total lack of duty of care. Which all pharmaceutical staff should have. Boots understand this law and dispensed her prescription

Only 2 in at a time which means you have to queue outside in all weathers! Other places are not like this so I will be considering having my prescriptions sent out by the + well app service
