I most certainly do not recommend this solicitor for dealing with probate! They were very unprofessional in my opinion. They don’t want to communicate anything with you, the only time i had any contact was when I phoned them to chase things. They are also not honest and tell you things have been done that haven’t. They also don’t deal with things in a timely mannor! They received the probate notice a month before they actually told be they had it even though they knew i was chasing it as I was desperately waiting for it to go through with the property sale. Then finally they issued the financial paperwork to me to sign where thankfully I noticed they had taken thier changes twice!
I expected a much more professional service than i received.

Me and my partner used David Bunn on the Bristol road. They may have got our purchase and sale complete but people skills are non existent, just like their communications skills. They quite literally don’t like speaking to you, which we found very bizarre. Pretty similar with emails, I still have unanswered emails to this day. Luckily my partner had managed to get the direct contact details to the others in the chain and this was pretty much the only and best way to find out any information.

Quite honestly the most unprofessional company we have ever had to deal
With. It made the whole process a lot more stressful and frustrating than it needed to be. Just wish I’d done my research. Lesson learned. As you can gather I definitely won’t be using them again in the future and the best advice I can give is to give them a wide berth.

I had a legal matter that needed to be dealt with quickly. Googled this website and decided to call. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. She transferred me to the solicitor who was also very friendly and helpful. In a couple of days I saw the lawyer and my matter was taken care of very efficiently. I would use them again if needed to.

Three days ago we completed on the sale of my parents home. All this was done in approximately 5 weeks!!!!!
We have had first class service from David Bunn Solicitors from the first phone-call to the Northfield Branch.

Leanne Calvey was conveyancing on our behalf and worked tirelessly to achieve a completion date as soon as possible, to enable my elderly parents an easy and stress-free sale of their home.
We were updated throughout the process and if I queried anything it was dealt with immediately and a response given.
I cannot thank Leanne Calvey & James Bunn enough for all of their efforts in ensuring this sale was completed in the shortest amount of time.
We would recommend this branch and Solicitors to everyone. We do not have anything but praise for the whole of the team at this branch.

I rang David Bunn & Co as I had a query and wanted some advice during lockdown. I spoke to a receptionist who put me through to a female solicitor who was very knowledgeable and helpful. After listening to my query she was able to answer according to the law. Even though it was not the answer I wanted, I was pleased she gave me an answer from a legal standpoint. I would definitely recommend this solicitors and use them post lockdown.
