We recently completed our house sale and used DGB as our conveyancing solicitors. I would highly recommend them and would not hesitate to use them again. Special thanks to Jacob who was very efficient and kept us updated throughout the whole process. Many thanks!

I have been a client of this firm for 30 years, and I have used them for business primarily with some domestic work mixed in. In all my business dealings involving for example, selling a business to a national corporate concern, right down to renewing existing leases, I have always received excellent quality and sensibly delivered advice. No stuffy meetings or awkward phone calls. Direct, simple, cost avoiding advice. I could not have been better served, and I know I'll continue to receive the same quality service going forward.

We have used DGB twice now for our house moves, and each time we have received fantastic service.

Caroline and Charmaine are brilliant, very knowledgeable and prompt with replies, and explain each step of the process clearly. Very easy to get hold of them, which is really important.

Highly recommend DGB. Caroline and her team were very professional and informative with helping us secure a mortgage on our first home. We was guided with timely updates and consistent communication throughout the process which allowed completion to take place in just 7 weeks. Great service.

I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending DGB and awarding a 5 star rating. Mark Smith looked after our conveyancing and went to every length to ensure our sale went through in the quickest time possible. He kept us informed throughout and responded to any queries within 24 hours, nearly always the same day. Exceptional service.

It is strongly recommended that this firm is avoided for all residential conveyancing at all possible cost.
While we acknowledge that we were not the client of DGB Solicitors (they represented our former buyer), we feel compelled to compose this review.

DGB Solicitors, due to their extraordinary level of incomprehensible unprofessionalism, caused significant and completely preventable/unnecessary delays to our property purchase which ultimately resulted in the failure of the sale after 10 months of gruelling efforts from both us and our Solicitors.
We have outlined below several failings/experiences we had with DGB Solicitors:

• Extreme delays in sending and acknowledging responses to emails/phone calls (> 4 weeks);
• When emails were eventually responded to, all attempts from our Solicitor to push the sale forward were ignored, and we were simply threatened with advising their client to withdraw;
• There was a complete failure from DGB Solicitors to outline why responses from our Solicitor to their minor comments were unsatisfactory or insufficient, or how best to resolve these for the benefit of their client and the rest of the chain;
• We also had these comments peer-reviewed by a different Solicitor and our estate agent, and all agreed that DGB’s responses were completely absurd;
• DGB Solicitors also forced us to undertake a Deed of Variation (DoV) on our property’s lease, despite this not being required; an act that has resultantly cost us thousands;
• Despite our willingness to submit to this DoV request, it still took DGB Solicitors five additional months to be able to articulate satisfactorily their requirements for the DoV; and,
• When the DoV was finally drafted, DGB Solicitors refused to accept the document, and subsequently requested further clauses and drawings to be drafted which were not originally requested. This added major delays to the process and frustration from all parties involved.

Consequently, after 10 extremely painful months, our buyer withdrew from the purchase with DGB Solicitors and the buyer failing to provide any explanation and therefore justification as to why. This was a truly heartbreaking revelation, as we were mere weeks away from exchange and completion.

We truly believe our former buyer was not aware of the full extent of their Solicitor’s failures to operate within their best interest, and the extent they went to cause significant and completely unnecessary delays to this property transaction.

The impact of DGB Solicitors to our mental health over the last 10 months has been utterly debilitating and has caused major disruptions to our everyday lives. We have also been significantly impacted financially (a risk with all sales & purchases), but it was very evident that this could have been easily avoided.

As a result, we would not wish for anyone else to experience what we experienced and would therefore strongly encourage avoidance of DGB Solicitors.

Very poor and unprofessional, do not return calls as promised and after more calls still no contact by any other means. “She is in a meeting until 2” the conversation in question was at 4 still no contact or courtesy. Should have checked the reviews

I'm afraid myself and my partner have had a terrible experience with this company, we were actually recommended Winch& Winch by a friend (now moved over to DGB Solicitor) but the contact we were recommended had left the company sadly - we were left with another lady whom we feel left us in a panic and chasing her after multiple delays, we were using the solicitors to get our first property and we were threatened by the seller at one point that we may lose the home due to such long delays

We also now have had three separate bills of which they have forgotten to add on charges, we have been moved into our home for 2 months now and have just received a third bill from them?

Extremely disorganized and unprofessional service for a multititude of reasons including but not limited to, our solicitor taking a week off and leaving us with no alternate contact we had no responses to our emails so had to chase down reception who then had to get back to us when they tracked down an alternate contact, No advise of a company changeover whatsoever! We began receiving letters from a new company and had to ask what was going on with these new company details.

I don't want to keep paying these people i wasn't happy with the service to begin with!!

How many more bills will i receive?!?!

Shockingly disappointed with my first experience with a solicitor, if you hadn't guessed already, I wouldn't recommend this company
