Umar Mirza represented me in my divorce proceedings. In the first meeting, we established what a good outcome would look like, and while I was quite emotional along the way, he kept me grounded on what was important, which was a fair settlement which wouldn't end in animosity as I have the health and welfare of two precious boys to consider. He helped keep my interactions with my ex-wife measured and balanced with the main goal of having a good co-parenting relationship, once we completed. As Curzon Green embraces a mediation ethos, the fees were incredibly reasonable, largely due to the honesty and integrity Umar brings with him, especially when a few grenades were lobbed in our direction. He's incredibly empathetic, stern when needed, but is all about preserving life after divorce. There are no quick wins in a divorce, but you can be assured that you will win in the end with Umar. I am able to look myself in the mirror and feel as good about the counsel I received, the outcome of the proceedings and the working relationship I will have with my ex-wife going forward. Kelly-Ann and Umar were amazing when my father was going through his divorce. They helped immensely at such an emotional and difficult time by never rushing through any of the process. They were incredibly professional but at the same time they were so kind and always made sure he was happy and understood what was going on. Both my father and I feel that the whole experience was made easier by having Kelly-Ann and Umar there to guide and explain everything. My fathers case was quite a difficult one with lots to sort out and some of it relating to property abroad. This could have been so stressful if we didn’t have Kelly-Ann there to contact with questions and to ask help and advice from. The after care was amazing too as I have had check ins from Kelly-Ann to see how my father is. I genuinely feel like we were treated like part of the Curzon Green family. Thank you so much ?
