Very stressful experience David Bird recommended the executors and was responsible for writing my father’s Will. I raised concerns about the executors shortly before my father died and Mr Bird dismissed all my concerns.

After two years the executors have failed to perform their duties and ignored all correspondence from my lawyer after sending a fraudulent IHT400 filing.

I had to file a high court order to have them removed and I have reported them to ICAEW.

I received no help or support from Crane and Staples they have never taken the opportunity to meet me and listen to my concerns.

I feel grossly let down by David Bird’s complete lack of due diligence and aggressive attitude, the police were called when I attended the office shortly after my father died.

Fortunately I had the resources to afford a good lawyer to support and advise me to remove the executors and how best to deal with David Bird.

If I could give you one piece of advice, do not let this man anywhere near your Will or family he has proven to be completely unprofessional, untrustworthy has no empathy and no respect for his client who doesn’t have a voice, my late father who trusted him.
