I had an extremely frustrating and distressing experience with Cooper Lingard Solicitors. Their lack of professionalism and incompetence were apparent from the start. Communication was abysmal; I was left in the dark for weeks on end and had to relentlessly chase them for updates. When they finally did respond, it was clear they hadn't bothered to familiarize themselves with my case details.

The staff was rude and dismissive, making me feel like an inconvenience rather than a valued client. I filed a formal complaint, but it was completely ignored, demonstrating their utter disregard for client satisfaction. When I attempted to terminate my contract and transfer my case to another solicitor, they obstructed the process, making it incredibly difficult and stressful.

To make matters worse, I noticed a disturbing pattern of behavior where they seem to prey on elderly clients with dementia, taking advantage of their vulnerability. This is not only unethical but downright predatory.

Their fees were exorbitant for the subpar service provided. I deeply regret having any dealings with Cooper Lingard Solicitors and strongly advise others, especially those with elderly family members, to avoid them at all costs.

Midway through the purchase James highlighted an issue with land ownership, quickly reviewed the paperwork, gave solid advice and contacted the selling agents on my behalf, resulting in a price reduction, indemnity and simultaneous sale and completion. James is very thorough, nothing is too much trouble, he always answers calls or calls back quickly and knows how important the sale or purchase is to his clients, cares about giving the best service, is approachable and simplifies legal jargon, breaking that stuffy solicitor stigma. I wouldn't use anyone else and would highly recommend James.
