If zero stars were possible, that’s what I’d give. My experience with CTW as my purchaser’s solicitor was overwhelmingly stressful from beginning to end. The solicitor repeatedly requested unnecessary documents, insisted on costly and unneeded management packs, and mishandled critical parts of the process. The solicitor exchanged contracts without securing vital information, which they had previously said wasn’t needed, only to reverse the decision the day before completion!! - creating last-minute chaos due to their oversight. The solicitors approach added an incredible amount of unnecessary stress, and I cannot recommend Cook Taylor Woodhouse to anyone.

We have recently completed our sale using Cook Taylor Woodhouse, who were recommended by our estate agents.
Andrew Prater and Brook Illing have been incredibly efficient and very supportive throughout. Documents were prepared in advance so they could be used when needed, so there was no rush or panic at the vital moments. Emails were answered promptly at all times of the day. Telephone messages and calls were answered or returned promptly, and in person. They made the whole process much easier for us and their service is greatly appreciated.

CTW were recommended to us by our estate agent and Andrew & Brook were amazing. We then learnt she had suddenly left the company leaving us with a lack of confidence. We were then assigned Paige who answered every email promptly and was very efficient. We were recommended to work with Ms. Abby Smith at Cook-Taylor Woodhouse, in Dartford, by George Bantoft from Robinson-Jackson, Belvedere estate agents, when we were asking for a quote on selling our flat. I am happy to say that this was the best recommendation and we would happily recommend anyone else to work with Ms. Smith, as she efficiently helped us with all the legal work of selling our flat and buying our new home. She always replies to our enquiries via email (questions relating to legality or how to fill in forms- how to answer some of the confusion questions in the numerous paperwork that comes with selling/buying) as well as answers our phone calls for more urgent queries. Ms. Abby Smith is very professional and works quickly. Very clear communication and the solicitor fee (from working along the estate agents) is very affordable.
