Absolutely wonderful service from Cook and Talbot!

We were first time buyers and very nervous about the whole process. However the team were so friendly, so responsive and helpful it made the whole process a dream.

Start to finish the process was just under 3 months (which included a 4+ week delay as we needed an additional survey doing in the house). Cook and Talbot were very proactive and informative all the way through the process. Freely chatting with our mortgage advisor and estate agents when needed with no prompts or chases from us. Quick to email back to any queries we had, and never once left hanging on the phone for ages.

One star is too generous, they were totally inept and missed some fundamentals such as the need for deeds of variation that I had to point out on multiple occasions.
There was no urgency in their service whatsoever until 2 weekend before my mortgage offer was about to expire and even then they were still telling me they had to delay things so I had time to move. I already lived in the property which they were obviously well aware of

Amazing service from Luisa and her team!
We used Cook & Talbot as our conveyancing solicitors when buying our 1st property and could not ask for better service. Our sellers gave us a strict timeline and the hard work provided by Luisa and her team meant that we were able to meet it!
Sadly the sellers were then delayed their end but we were constantly updated throughout this time by Luisa so felt at ease we were still moving in the right direction.
Having now completed we are extremely grateful and appreciative of their hard work in getting this done for us in 11 weeks!
