A friend of mine recommended Convey Law when I started looking at properties to buy. I am so glad I went with the recommendation as Convey Law have been great from start to finish. As a first time buyer, I was not fully aware of the exact house buying process and what it entailed. However, my conveyancer, Chelsie Tyler was amazing and took me through the entire process step, explaining everything in great detail. I had a lot of questions and Chelsie answered them all with ease. She was so professional, and clearly knowledgeable, that it made me feel confident in my decision to use Convey Law.

I was kept up to date on a regular basis and even though the first house I tried to buy fell through because of structural issues, Chelsie made the process of starting the whole thing again very quick and easy.

This time the process was successful and I am now a homeowner. It was no simple feat though, it seemed to go on forever (9 months in total). We had some unexpected issues with the ‘chain’ that delayed the process a lot longer than we initially expected and was obviously out of our control. During this time, Chelsie continued to update me weekly and I would receive multiple updates in the same week if all of a sudden there was a surge of things happening at roughly the same time.

No matter how many questions I had, or how many times she had to explain something to me again, Chelsie was always easy to get hold of, quick to respond and very helpful. I can say without a shadow of a doubt that Chelsie made this process a lot easier for me and she kept me sane for the last year. I cannot thank her enough 🙂

I have no intentions of buying another house anytime soon, but when that time comes, I know who will be my first port of call. Chelsie and the team at Convey Law!

Avoid, avoid, avoid!!!! Natalie Arlett-Buffery was completely and utterly useless, her assistant Catherine Leach wasn’t much better. Zero communication, responses took over a week at some points. They NEVER answer the phone. We were then told less than a week before we were due to exchange that our purchase file had been transferred to another solicitor due to Natalie suddenly leaving the business. We were not contacted directly to be told this, we were only given this information because I sent a 3rd email chasing a response/update!!!!! We were handed over to Sophie, never actually spoke to her, never had any correspondence from her or any introduction/apology for being handed over without a word of communication. I will say, Jack Grout, was fantastic. I’m not sure if he was so good because we kicked off about everything, or he may just be really good. He had great communication and his response time was always within the same day. I can’t recommend Sophie/Jack as I’m unsure what their service would have been like if they’d had our purchase file from the beginning.
