We cannot recommend Context Planning highly enough. Mark Reynolds is extremely professional, exceptionally knowledgeable in his field and works hard for his clients. He inspired confidence from the start: he listened, understood the brief and gave us excellent advice. We trusted his recommendations completely – and have achieved exactly what we wanted.
Mark steered us skilfully through a planning application on a challenging site: a new build in the open countryside, sensitive environment/ecology and a complex planning history including several refusals. His expert knowledge of the planning system enabled us to produce a thorough and pragmatic proposal that was accepted by Mendip County Council on first submission (with no conditions).
He was also essential in managing the relationship with our architect, handling their tendency to depart from our brief with tact and diplomacy.
If we ever need a planning consultant in the future, Mark would be our first choice.

We chose Context Planning (Mark) to assist us with a couple of sensitive planning issues we had with the local council.
With Mark's background, knowledge and expertise he helped us obtain exactly what we set out to achieve.
Mark is extremely knowledgeable but at the same time very easy to deal with making the whole process very stress free. He will happily either work closely with you or take your matter on and deal with it himself and will always be on the end of the phone either giving you an update or advice if needed.
We cannot recommend (or thank) Mark enough for his hard work he has done for us and is welcome to pass on our details if you wish to discuss his work before appointing him.
I would give him 6 stars if I could.

Context Panning have been outstanding in supporting us through the potential minefield that local authority planning legislation can be.
Mark's advice has always been sound, his communication clear and concise, he's always very responsive and most importantly we trust him. I've met several planning consultants over the years - some are flowery and promise the earth, others negative and dour and tell you it's impossible. Mark is neither. He's down to earth, pragmatic and measured advice is exactly what we needed, and most importantly we feel like he will spend our money as if it's his own.
I cant recommend him and Context Planning enough.
