I sent my phone to this lab to attempt to recover deleted WhatsApp messages. I was informed there was no guarantee this would work and that I would pay a deposit and then pay another fee to obtain a report if the messages were recovered.

When I was offered the report for £750 I asked questions to check if they had recovered the deleted messages. They were adamant the messages had been recovered. I was suspicious and attended the lab and found out that none of the messages had been recovered. They had attempted to mislead me into thinking they had recovered the messages and pay the £750.

This is not honest behaviour and I wasted my time and travel costs to confirm what I suspected that they had not obtained the messages.

I wouldn't have made this review if they had been honest with me and told me that they had not recovered the messages rather then attempt to mislead me.

Had an excellent experience. The moment I got in touch, I was given a very good assurance that my data can be recovered, Specially Mahsa. She was excellent throughout the week , keeping me posted. Explained that there was no hidden cost. Once the data was recovered, they sent me copy of all the recovered files for approval and also transferred them onto a new external hard drive. Excellent professional service. I had a faulty external hard drive where the read/write heads needed to be replaced entirely. They managed to recover all my data and performed additional file carving at my request to recover deleted files. Highly recommended. I hope not to be a position to use them again by making sure I take regular backups, but if I do get caught short, I would use them again and will recommend to anyone who needs their services.

Competitively priced compared to some other companies I reached out to and they offer a no-data no-fee as well as no charge for diagnosing the problem either. The majority of my data was recovered from a portable hard drive so I am happy with the result. My hard drive stopped working due to the rotating mechanism breaking and as you can imagine I was very wary of who to let fix it as the data on there was priceless. So I looked around and found this place and they filled me with hope and reassurance throughout the process. They were very quick and responsive to my first call, they allowed me to bring in my HD on the same day for a free test. Once they got into my HD they sent me a map of every thing on there and if I was happy with the results (which I was as more than 80% of my data was recovered) they then sent over the invoice. The process took under a week and considering it fell over a bank holiday this was great. I am very pleased with the service and couldn't recommend enough! Saved my hard drive (and my life😂)

After having an HDD fail I researched a LOT of data recovery companies to help recover it.
Most companies wanted upfront payment with little-to-no expectation on what the total cost could be. Not only were CFL upfront about costs, but were consultative and provided outstanding customer support throughout the entire process (from a dedicated point of contact).

In an industry that does seem to have a fair few cowboys in it, CFL are the most genuine and reasonable out there.
