We used Family Office Notary to notarise documents that were required for a transaction in South Africa. We contacted Sharda, who responded promptly and was extremely helpful in guiding us through the process. Dawn was able to make herself available to notarise the documents at very short notice, with the additional bonus that she came to our home to do the notarising. The documents were then apostilled at the FCDO within a few days and arranged to be couriered to the attorneys in South Africa. The whole process was exceptional throughout, with regular communication from Sharda who managed the whole process for us, and obviously Dawn's availability and willingness to come to our home to do the notarising was enormously helpful. I first met Dawn in March last year in respect of having to obtain the required stamps and signatures associated with documents required for the sale of a property in USA. This requirement was at short notice and Dawn was able to see me within 24hrs and certify the document at home. How ever the sale did not go ahead and was delayed until October 2022 when again I was given little notice to obtain the necessary certification and return these to the USA. I contacted Dawn and without hesitation saw me that evening at home and certified the documents. Again the transaction did not go ahead and a third attempt occurred in March this year with little warning and short timescale. I immediately contacted Dawn and she saw me that evening at home and certified the required papers which I could return with little delay to the USA which this time the sale went through.
I can honestly say that without Dawn’s professional assistance at short notice 3 times the sale would not have progressed.
