Good in Parts. Some things went wrong and a lot went right. The main problem was the Stamp Duty holiday which caused a rush for house buyers. Cleversons were overwhelmed with work which caused a logjam in all conveyancing. My conveyancing took 18 weeks when it should have taken about 8. When I did get some action they were very good at what they did. Solution? don't take on too much work - easy to say but somewhat impractical. (It could have been my conveyance that they chose to not take on - great!!) Another problem was communication - every solicitor in the chain was almost impossible to contact due to the overwhelming number of calls that they received. So if you couldn't get through then move on to the next case. Long delays. Summary; I believe that if it wasn't for the Stamp Duty Tax holiday causing chaos, this would have been a smooth conveyancing which would have been achieved in the quoted 8 weeks.

Trustworthy and reliable firm of solicitors. I will use them again in the future. I had issues with communication at some point but that has now been fully resolved. I am a happy client.

I have nothing positive to say about this firm of solicitors.
Unfortunately I had to dismiss them and transfere my conveyancing work elsewhere.
