They were doing my Dads will (Probate)
So I wouldn't recommend them!
They added something to the probate, which they didn't tell us about. And then up blaming myself and Sister!
And because they added something on, probate took very close to a year to a complete.
They also lost my Dads original will and death certificate and they said we never sent it to them, even though they need originals to complete!

We complained to the complaints department, yet we got the blame for it still and we also still had to pay the extra charge. In the end after a year we just wanted it done and paid. Definitely not recommended!

I have used Clarke Willmott at Taunton for a few years now, mainly wills. I have always found them to be excellent. I suspect reviews on here are easy for disgruntled people, satisfied ones tend not to bother so the 'score' can be misleading. I would have no problem recommending them.

Solicitors appointed by Barratt homes and dealt with the p/x of our home. Terrible, caused delays, drip fed enquiries and kept raising new ones. No one seemed to know what was going on and they sat on the file for a month before even starting anything. Caused a lot of stress.

My partner has left numerous messages to speak with an advisor as he can never get through. I've been present on all occasions of those messages left. No one has called him back and it was to discuss the payment option as he has lost his job and now it is past the date needed. Not impressed with the level of customer service.
