Highly recommended. After doing my regular fluid checks on my car, I noticed my wet belt was starting to crack. So I messaged Charley on Sunday afternoon to ask him for some advice and he had free space for Wednesday. I was shocked how quickly he got me back on the road again. Needed some urgent work doing on my car. Charley indicated that whilst he was fully booked, if I was able to leave my car with him, he would take a look at what needed doing in between jobs. This is the first time I've used CJL mechanical, after multiple word of mouth reviews I asked Charley for a quote for some work on my car. During this process Charley was really friendly and responsive giving me solid advice without being pushy.

I have a Ford 1.0 EcoBoost with the notorious wet belt issues. Due to the complexity and potential extra labour involved I had really struggled to find a specialist mechanic who would even do this work let alone to the level that Charley did.

As someone who isn't really mechanically minded, I really appreciated the way he talked me through the whole process and kept me up to date with photos as he went, answering any questions and even fixing another issue he spotted whilst working on the car! I really appreciated his honest and skillful approach to this work. Safe to say I've found my new mechanic and will be using them going forward. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

First class service. Took one of my cars to Charley, which had been giving me issues. Expecting a huge bill, and a long repair. The car was ready in a couple of days for a fraction of the potential cost. Charley was completely honest and didn't try and lift my leg, for unnecessary work. Car fixed, happy customer.
