Can't get a face to face oppointment like everywhere else these days. Send you pages and pages of stuff by e mail instead that unless you know what you are doing ( which u don't or u wouldn't be calling them) is just too much information to absorb and process without any support. They will say u can e mail them or phone them but you still have to wade through pages of info and links to other pages which is just too much I'm afraid, especially if a person is struggling already.

Told over the phone i had an 11am appointment, get there 10 minutes before my appointment only to be told they dont do 11am appointments i should have been advised it was at 930 and they now cant see me and i should contact a different agency. Citizens advice more like citizens waste of time, you'll have more look carrying out your own research into a problem online.

So far, I have been there around three times. The first time and third time was for help with PIP. One of them did not help, claiming only one booked the appointment, but my family and I booked it for the two of us. So, I wasted my time as they also did not understand how hard it is for an autistic person with anxiety issues to talk to new people. They only recommended that I speak to a different city, CAB> The second time was to see if I could receive compensation from NHS due to lack or misdiagnosing me, claiming I am healthy. Still, it turned out I had Autism my entire life, along with depression and some other issues my mother brought up. They shrugged off once again claiming I was healthy and she was overprotective. They said I wouldn't be able to get compensation. Still, I could try to get an 'apology' letter from them, like that would help or even be good enough considering all the help I could have gotten at school and more. The company also mainly gets volunteers to do most of their work who do not know the field.

These people go out of the way to help people who are struggling with mental health issues and have been struggling with depression for years and they don’t want any family to suffer from not being able to get help from the government and they are very worried about people who don’t have the money to pay their debts and they have a lot to offer them they have a hard working team of people to help people and they are so professional at helping people with their problems and helping people with problems every day I give them 10 stars for helping people with the brilliant work they do

Lovely lady tried her best to help but wasn't able to tell me anything useful except that Citizens Advice is now franchised and many outlets lack the required specialist skills to give help with common requests. The advice I received as a Citizen was to try somewhere else for Advice. It's not too busy... that is the best I can say about it probably because it is run for profit and not with the intention of actually helping anybody. Nice lady though.

The staff seem nice, that’s the reason I give them a star. But this is my first experience at a citizens advice, and I’ve been waiting for nearly 2 hours to see someone, when I’am the only one waiting to be seen, and there are 4 of them in the office having a natter and I’ve not been told any information or asked anything,
I was told I’d be spoken to shortly and that was it.

As I’m writing this a woman’s come in without an appointment and been seen in 5 minutes..... I’m still waiting and had no info
