Citizens Advice Merthyr Tydfil is very Professional and Helpful.
My grateful thanks to Michael and the team for supporting and advocating on my behalf.
In our current times it is essential to those of us who struggle to deal with Big Business to have independent representation to fight for what is our rights, sadly all to often those are dismissed.
Citizens Advice Merthyr Tydfil is there for our voices that are not heard.
They are funded on a year to year basis, their budgets limited.
Hopefully in 2025 they can continue representing the people of Merthyr Tydfil.

Great place that helps with so many different areas. Mainly phone based now. The sheer level of matters that these guys van deal with is immense. From private property, benefits, food banks and more. These guys are the champions for the people. If you need almost anything then this is the place that you can go to.

Helpful legal advise for free
Although now mainly via telephone which can take up to 2-3 weeks to arrange
Face to face appointments seem to be virtually impossible ?
Unless you have 4 or 5 months to spare

Unfortunately i called into this place 3 times and 3 times i was turned away. I called in Thursday morning to be told no one was in to deal with my enquiry and was told to call back in on Tuesday, so i called in at 10:30 on Tuesday to be then be told i need to come in on our drop in day which was monday Thursday and Fridays! So i explained to the woman i was told different and ive came back on the day i was told. She said Unfortunately theres nothing i can do but call in on Thursday and someome will see you. So i came back at 10am on Thursday only to be told we not seing anymore people today so call back again!! Obviously this really pissed me off so i told them to shove it il go elsewhere!!

Very helpful staff, phoned to book appointment to help me complete PIP paperwork and was given a appointment for a few days later. The premises are easily accessible with ramped access and electric entrance door.
