These services are useless!!
Called the number of the local bureau, waited for 2 hours to get through to someone (which is okay if it’s worth the wait), incompetent adviser answered the phone and not sure if he did it by mistake or something but has announced he will go through some questions before we go ahead and he put me through an automated system of asking me 5 questions about the service I received and how satisfied I am Then my call has been terminated!!!! Ridiculous, waisting 2 hours of my precious time to get through to somebody who doesn’t know how to operate the phone system!!! I would like to say, regardless of my ‘client survey satisfaction’ i rated with overall satisfied because I wasn’t expecting my call to be terminated by incompetent staff member, or perhaps technical error (which again not my fault, and in the scenario that clients waiting time is so long with you, perhaps there should be some form of alternatives when the call is lost, to call back the client) this left me so much disappointed of your hilarious service and support that you provide. I would rather be my own adviser and spent the time for research on my problem than to wait on the phone for 2 hours with dead end!!

Didn't receive, in my opinion, very good service. Reception staff kind & friendly but 'Advisor' - despite being over 1.5hrs later than scheduled appt't time 'barely apologetic & quite abrupt with (I feel) very limited advice for my problems. Have dropped a 'complaint letter' thru' their letterbox & will let U know the outcome in due course!

Didn't go for citizens advice although I have used this service before ( it's okay if you can get an appointment)
I used Allum Hall for my Covid vaccine and often use it for blood donation.
Everyone always friendly and very good parking facilities

Upon reaching age 55 years I was advised and referred by Pensionwise to CAB to seek pension advice. Before that I already have a good working knowledge of pension related matter; I know the pros and cons of various aspects of the pension minefield. All I need help with, is to put 3 small pensions accounts together in one place. But, as far the law goes; the government wants me pay ‘financial mid-man’ thousands of pounds which I do not have, cannot afford and worse still, pay for something which I can surely do myself and very well. The advice I was looking for, is whether there are ways around putting all my pensions together in one place without having to pay a big chunk to the ‘financial mid-men’. Unfortunately, CAB doesn't provide advice on this aspect of pension. I waited for almost 3 months from booking the appointment and being seen. While I won't say the meeting was complete waste of time. I just think the quality and the level of advice is too basic. This level of pension advice would surely do wonders for young people starting out but not much for people of my age range. Nevertheless, the advisor's knowledge of the field is good and my thanks. -
