absolute disgrace of a place called regarding issues with my landlord, and her concern was that I rent a 2-bed property, not a one. She overlooked the landlord's failures, like the deposit not being placed in holding. or the abuse or constant eviction threat or the state of the property—basically all she cared about was the property size. You might be doing this as a volunteer, but you are wasting your time. as the help and tone you have is nothing more than a insult to the people that need this help, love. and judging by other comments it seems to be the same person

I went today to ask about benefits. The woman was extremely rude, didn’t explain benefits properly, was in the rush, even tho there was no people waiting and gave me incorrect information. The conversation lasted around 1 minute…. I went to the job centre and was given better help and answers, so thank you for that!!
I feel like it’s better to read online about everything, even tho they are there to help!! Citizens Advice, Bath Avoid!

Awful service and the advice I got was unbelievable what I was hearing.
The lady seemed to be over 60 and a volunteer, just didn’t have a clue or how to deal with giving out advice.
I used my own instincts and natural talents in the end.

First point of contact face to face is at the One Stop Shop not at the main office in George Street. The One Stop Shop is at Manvers Street and is open Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays 10 to 2pm. Also the Advice line can help. There is no direct access to services st Edgar Buildings in George Street only appointments made after an assessment either at the One Stop Shop in Manvers Street or via telephone via Advice line. There can be a wait but it's worth it. Gets busy at the One Stop Shop best time is early at about 10am. If you can't wait there is a free telephone service available within the One Stop Shop ask any member of staff. The phones get busy but you can get through and your details are taken and somebody will arrange a call back for you. The volunteers are friendly and very helpful. Please be patient. The One Stop Shop is located at the Council offices in Manvers Street.

Sadly the response I got to a serious financial problem was a blunt and abrupt "Can't do - won't do" attitude. I might as well not have bothered contacting them.

Always got the right support and help that I've needed, they have saved me many times.
You may have to wait for a week or so for an appointment but that is a small price to pay.
