One of the worst solicitors I’ve ever come across. Carters acted for the buyers when we were selling our home. They we excessively unresponsive; Rebecca in particular who was dealing with the transaction was beyond rude and openly belittled and looked down on my solicitor and my estate agent in email communication - she delayed our sales for over 6 weeks with her constant lack of communication/ general disorganisation. In the end I had to go into their office personally to try and understand myself why they were not responding to my solicitors. Carters were aware of our very tight deadlines to sell our property from the start of the sale, but completely ignored this and didn’t tell the buyers. The sale over an by 6 weeks, which cost us over £3000 in additional costs. They were so bad that as a result of the issues with our house sale, they were actually removed from the recommended panel of solicitors with our estate agent. I would strongly recommend staying away from this company.
