Started my journey with Burnetts Solicitors LLP to draft a Will, expecting a smooth and professional process. Instead, I encountered a series of disappointments: a glaring conflict of interest (they represented my landlord in a dispute against an asset in my Will), lack of timely communication, ethical concerns, and a troubling disregard for GDPR compliance.

The situation escalated to an illegal eviction, a stark departure from the ethical, professional standards and fiduciary duty expected from legal services. This experience has been a wake-up call on the importance of transparency, accountability, and integrity within the legal profession.

I used these a couple of years ago for a divorce. I paid the initial fixed fee for the first meeting and only recieved half the time allocated as they had another client. No apology, no partial refund. The rate was £160 an hour but there was a minimum number of minutes chargeable so I received large bills for something as simple as phoning me to remind me about something. I dealt with Vikki Porthouse. It felt like the majority of things I had to sort out myself. I didn't feel supported and it felt like any excuse to do menial work and then send a bill was done so. Loved sending pointless letters that were completely unnecessary.

I sadly wouldn't recommend. Luckily with my ex partner we managed to sort things amicably ourselves otherwise it would have ran in to tens of thousands of pounds quite easily.

Really not value for money.
