I used this firm for all of my 2 year admission on a mental health ward and 2 years living in the community having suffered a breakdown in 2015. The solicitor that handled my case always gave me clear realistic indications as to what would be the possible outcomes at various stages in my journey which is what I wanted most. The most significant moment for me was when I won my tribunal to get off section even though my doctor wasn't in support nor against the idea (sort of sat on the fence and hedged bets). I felt the Burke Niazi team and especially my Solicitor took care and spent time arranging the facts to ensure I had the best possible chance of getting the result I wanted. fast forward 5years I'm currently working, off medication and off section and I have to say that Burke Niazi played a huge part in this.

Burke Niazi were superb in taking my application to be my father’s deputy for property and affairs through the Court of Protection earlier this year. It is supposed to be something you can do on your own but it isn’t, especially as you are likely to be making the application during a period of considerable personal stress. My Solicitor, Elizabeth Cleaver, made sure the process was smooth and seamless: everything happened as she said it would and her calm professionalism was very reassuring. In short I cannot praise her or Burke Niazi highly enough and would wholeheartedly recommend them.

Absolutely disgusting should be ashamed of yourselves & you call yourselves professional? Total lack of respect for clients disgraceful

Really Sepideh was very unhelpful when it came to working with her. She dosent fight for her client will abandon them at first chance and dont work hard in everything that she does. Even in the toughest situation she will be there for you.

Someone should speak for themself & not the rest of us!

& this firm in complex situation will mess you about making things worse & leave you high & dry wasting almost an entire year.

There are others involved to I actually feel like swearing here being made to feel worthless I cannot believe it this is turning in to the worst experience I've ever had from a solicitors. Its leaving me feeling hopeless & ignored I am a survivor & still being abused by the system! Thats not helping 1 case 3 different solicitors nothing done?

Extreamly disappointing now everthing is in even more of a mess! Advocates that are not there to benefit you.... mental health thats a joke

Been trying since September to get anything done for Court of Protection.
Solicitor always talks the talk but doesnt walk the walk. Had 3 changes to solicitor since started (one left suddenly). Claim to have a central London venue available but I had to go up to North London Had nothing in writing and was referred to website for T&Cs so no way to effectively judge whether what I wanted was being addressed. No letter of acceptance. I'm wondering if this is related to them 'not taking any more clients' see another review as I started about the same time. They Initially claimed Legal Aid is easy to get (within a day)then kept questioning my status over months but I finally got an email apology. Solicitor often unavailable for days at a time.

Not a good circumstance using a solicitor like this. But the solicitor Naomi Milner was excellent in helping my partner and I to keep our son at home with us.

The barristers Alison Munroe and Jenny Boswell were exemplary and good people to converse and work with. Can thoroughly recommend them if you have mental health issues.

Before i even got to speaking to a solicitor, the receptionist i think, didnt listen to what i was actually saying and neither did she know what she was doing. Kept asking me random questions that had nothing to do with why i called. Not very professional.
