I agree with the recent comments. I reached out for support over a week ago and have been completely ignored. I followed up with additional messages and sent an email, but still received no response. I am currently unable to finalise my client’s accounts because I am stuck — and my query was very straightforward: how to add a new account to the chart of accounts.

Ordered Charity Accounts Production software on line , paid and received invoice. Then nothing happens. Eventually someone telephoned me to say I could not have this software without paying and additional £380.00 odd. Terrible customer service would steer well clear of this provider.

We've been with BTC software for over 9 years now and I've got to say in the last year or so, they've become really bad. Support never answers there calls nor calls people back. Prices increases year on year too!

The software has become buggy and unreliable I would avoid.

I have been using BTC Software for many years now, having tried others and finding the need to change every year due to either limited numbers of clients I could use before incurring further costs or finding the software just too complex for my needs. I have only needed support from BTC on two occasions, once due to a software "blip", that was quickly rectified, and the other due to a lack of knowledge/understanding on my part. Each time I was not spoken down to, just helped. It is the best software I have ever used, particularly as it provides unlimited SA Returns and so economically too. I cannot recommend highly enough.

In the last year (or since the Bright buy out) they've become really bad. Issues with even logging into the software, and then can't even get through to support! Never have any issues with any other software company but seems like I always need support from this company! Just called 10 times but keep getting shut off!

We like the friendly and approachable staff who are open to suggestions. The Practice Management software is a great tool for managing workload and for storing clients information. In fact the software is that useful that we’ve come to rely on BTC for core operations. BTC practice manager is flexible; data can be exported and custom templates can be created - we have found these two elements in particular to be very useful. If ever there is a problem, the staff always manage to address it promptly. We like how BTC is continuously developing and is adaptable to our business compared with other software available on the market

I have just started using the accounts and corporation tax software for my practice. As a sole practioner with around 30 clients this was my first big software purchase and it is just the right size and price for me, I particularly appreciated the 30 day free trial. The automatic filing with HMRC and Companies House has been very straightforward. I have found the software very user friendly and straightforward and am glad I made the leap!

I have been using BTCSoftware accounts submission for Companies House since 2013. It has been excellent and is great help when up against deadlines. Co House have accepted both submissions within an hour of us sending the files. Co House acceptances also came through much quicker than expected. Thanks for your help in getting it in use.
