My Father passed away and was a friend of the old practice owner and, as a consequence, elected to make his will with Wheeler & Brill (the name of the old practice at the time). Unfortunately the service I have received from Brunswick Law (the new practice) has been nothing short of dreadful from start to finish.
Aside from them taking well over a year to resolve a VERY straightforward will and being very callous and insensitive to the cause for my communications with them I was met with a barrage of officious unpleasantness. Finally when my late Father's will was 'resolved' (after all this time) there was an in-discrepancy in the amount that they have paid out compared to the amount listed by the Grant of probate.
Some FIFTEEN months in I am still trying to get to the bottom of what is going on with no thanks to Brunswick Law.

I am utterly disgusted by their insensitivity, callousness and lack of clarification given the sensitive nature of the issue at hand and absolutely could NOT recommend this practice in any way. The solicitors appear to also permanently work from home so your chances of calling the office and actually speaking to one of them is zero from what I understand.

I am now in the process of putting this matter in the hands of the Legal Ombudsmen as there are still many remaining questions that I have sought answer to but have yet to receive a clear answer to.....

In my humble opinion I would avoid this practice at all costs as they are extremely expensive and very unhelpful and rather unpleasant!

Oh, and don't even get me started on pricing. They wanted OVER FOUR THOUSAND POUNDS for this delightful experience (and simplest of wills) which, I didn't even know the cost for until everything was finished.

I had the misfortune to use this solicitors recently and to say I was unimpressed would be a vast understatement. They were difficult to get hold of (apparently the solicitors don’t work in the office so it was impossible to speak to them) and were rude when I asked them to clarify anything I wasn’t sure about.

The worst thing though was that at no point did they tell me what their costs would be, maybe I was naive and should have asked but I would have though that when you’re intending to charge somebody thousands for filling in a few forms and writing a few letters you would at least give them a rough idea of the cost.

Save your time and find a better solicitors.
