I emailed BPO Collections disputing an alleged debt and received no reply whatsoever. Instead of responding properly, they bombarded me with text messages from different numbers clearly trying to pressure me into calling them. When I eventually did call (wasting my own time), I was told the case would be returned to Virgin Media.

Since then, I've received yet another message about a completely different so-called debt.

This company doesn’t provide evidence, doesn’t respond to formal emails, and uses borderline harassment tactics to push people into phoning them.

Unprofessional, evasive, and deeply frustrating to deal with. If you’re being contacted by them, be cautious and demand proof in writing from the alleged original creditor before engaging.

Unsure to why the reviews are so bad for this company. They are genuine and the website is extremely easy to navigate and set things up - I know this as when I settled a debt I cross referenced it with HMRC and they cleared the account.

I had a question, phoned and spoke to Luke who was very informative and helpful. Sure, no one likes paying debts although this company and their platform seems easy enough to use.

Be aware of these scammers. They keep harassing me regarding a debt for HFC bank which was 24 years old the company doesn't even exist anymore whats more this debt was statute barred 18 years ago. I have only had my phone number for a few years so how did they get it? They are obviously seeking it. I phoned them today and told them not to phone or communicate with me and removed my details if so I will be putting in an harassment complaint I have already complained to the financial ombudsman and waiting for a reply. Don't be bullied by this outfit. They prey on vonurable people if you received any correspondence by these seek advice.

HMRC had, by automated error it seems, created a claim with BPO about a "debt" I owed. So I recieved a letter and contacted HMRC first as I thought it was likely a scam. HMRC explained the situation and for some reason rather than handled the error on their side, asked me to communicate with BPO.

I haven't however been able to get in touch with them in over a month, since they wont answer email and my phone hours are limited due to work. Yet they're still sending out letters, so I'm just confused as to how these people are intending to collect money from people when they wont even respond. At this point it's just harassment since if they got in touch I'd be able to explain I don't owe anything and they should contact HMRC.

They are leaving me feeling very negative by putting so many hurdles in my way to successfully deal with my debt. Website inaccessible, print on documents so tiny I can't read it. Fail to take into account disabilities and mental health issues of clients

received a letter saying i owe HMRC. i have an accountant that deals with all my business finances, all up to date and paid on time. have called HMRC who have confirmed my accounts are in order. Can only assume BPO is a scam, be careful.

This company, working for a major corporation, is exploiting poor people in the UK by draining their finances. Be extremely careful when making payments through them, as it could be a scam. You need to contact the company you are actually paying. They seem to be in league with large companies to take your money and then abscond. Their helpline is useless, and the absence of a complaints department allows them to falsely portray a positive image.

This company tried to collect the debt from me that is statute barred !!! Most (but not all) debts in Englad become statute barred after 6 years ,meaning the courts can't enforce collection after 6 years. Even if you owed the money in the past ,check if your debt is statute barred people don't let them fool you
