Jim Hickey made what could have been a stressful and unpleasant experience a very problem free one.
He was very communicative and did his utmost to ensure that the sale of our house went through smoothly. He dealt efficiently and promptly with queries put forward ( often the same ones) by our buyers conveyancing firm.
As well as being extremely efficient he also has a great sense of humour.

I and my whole family have been with them for many decades generations and spent every penny using them as our solicitors.
It’s changed, recently we decided to add a plaque to my belated grandmother’s bench to add her husband (grandfather). Unfortunately we didn’t have his birth date and just enquired if they could help. Response was a cold NO! We found out he was born 1914 during the war and it was public knowledge in the end and he served his country yet no common decency or respect shown.
I understand client privilege, but to withhold information from us as a long standing family within your company is inexcusable.

I contacted the Leek office for the purposes of matrimonial divorce proceedings. My dealings with solicitors are few and far between but Lisa Cogger dealt with the situation really well. I felt comfortable and reassured through out the whole process.
Plenty of feedback and advice when needed but no excess to build up the cost! Very good service and can happily recommend.
