Sophie and her colleague Aimee have been fantastic solicitors to work with on a recent flat sale. Their communication and tenacity has been critical in getting a protracted sale over the line before a hard deadline. Their client may never quite know how key this level of service was behind the scenes in order to keep their purchase alive. We would not hesitate in recommending their services on either the purchase or sale of a property in London in the future. Thank you, Alex KFH!

We appointed Bishopsgate Law to handle the sale and purchase of our properties due to their great reviews , clear pricing and in house conveyancers. We could not be more pleased with the fantastic service we received from Rahul and Charlie. They made the whole process seamless, kept us well informed, clearly explained the process at every step and were very professional. We had a complicated split chain to deal with and we are convinced that without Rahul taking the lead in the chain we would never have completed on time. A big heartfelt thank you to both Charlie and Rahul you were amazing.

I recently chose Bishopsgate Law as my solicitors for my first property purchase. My knowledge around the process was limited, having never purchased a house before. Rahul and Charlie explained everything step by step, and kept me well informed the whole time. Both were very responsive, professional, and great at their jobs.

I couldn’t recommend Rahul as a solicitor enough. He is honest, and it’s very obvious he only wants the best for clients. No question I had felt too silly or small to ask. Often, I would email Rahul with some questions and he would call me to talk me through everything and make sure I was happy and understood.

Overall, the purchase of my house was well within the estimated timeframe given, and was much quicker than expected.

I would recommend Bishopsgate law to anyone!

Reviews always make interesting reading. As a starting point, let me say that the service standards across Conveyancing as an industry are extremely low. This was most recently borne out by my first time Buyer's Conveyancers who were shockingly bad. On a brighter note therefore and in contrast to the experience of Emma Jackson, I found Stenson at Northampton and Amanda Turco at Bishopsgate to be professional and responsive. They answered the phone, if engaged on another call, they returned my calls, usually within 2 hours and they responded to my emails , usually within a few hours. They persevered when things were difficult, communicated with my agent and we finally completed after 6 months, all the delays coming from the other side. The key seems to be the team you are given. Don't hesistate to ask for a new team if your allocated team don't respond in the way you expect. My thanks to Bishopsgate, they are a little more expensive than the cheapest in the market, but you really do get what you pay for.

I am extremely disappointed with the services provided by Bishopsgate Law during the sale of my house. The entire experience has been marred by a complete lack of communication, unresponsiveness, and a disregard for customer satisfaction.

From the outset, communication was virtually non-existent. Despite regular attempts to chase updates via emails and phone calls, I received no replies, leaving me in the dark about the progress of my house sale. Even after attempting to escalate the matter to management, my concerns were met with silence, accompanied by a series of unconvincing excuses.

One of the most egregious instances involved the firm sitting on crucial enquiries for several weeks, putting the entire sale at risk. It was only after the estate agent directly confronted them that they finally sent over key documents. Shockingly, Bishopsgate Law attempted to lie about the timing of these document transmissions, further eroding any trust in their professionalism.

Furthermore, the completion process was needlessly delayed to the point where their "finance" team had already gone home, resulting in them withholding funds until the following day. This lack of urgency and accountability only added unnecessary stress to an already challenging situation.

In the face of these issues, Bishopsgate Law never acknowledged the complaints or took any responsibility for their poor service. Their failure to address legitimate concerns and provide a satisfactory resolution has left me with a lasting negative impression.

I would strongly advise against using Bishopsgate Law for any legal services, particularly if you value clear communication, responsiveness, and a stress-free experience. This has been an incredibly frustrating and disappointing ordeal, and I cannot recommend their services to others.

Fantastic Experience with Melisa from Bishopsgate Law

Melisa from Bishopsgate Law was an absolute pleasure to work with during the purchase of my new home. She was incredibly knowledgeable, efficient, and responsive, taking care of every detail with utmost care and professionalism. From the initial consultation to the completion of the conveyancing process, Melisa kept me informed every step of the way, ensuring that I was fully aware of the process and my options. Her calm demeanor and friendly approach put me at ease throughout the entire process, making what could have been a daunting experience a smooth and enjoyable one. I would highly recommend Melisa to anyone looking for an exceptional conveyancing solicitor who genuinely cares about their clients and their success.

We had an excellent experience working with Bishopsgate Law in Northampton, specifically Niharika and Jayne, who helped us immensely with their expertise and quick replies.

We went from our online estimate to exchanging contracts in just over two months, and each step of the process was made easier with modern digital options. The only physical paperwork we had to send was our signed contracts.

My husband and I have just bought our first house and we used Bishopsgate Law based on the Google reviews for their London office. Jasmin and Kelly from the Northampton office were assigned to our file and we have had a great experience. Our friends and family told us that buying a house is stressful but I have to say that using Bishopsgate took away a lot of stress. Jasmin was so prompt in responding to my (what felt like) relentless emails, especially towards the end of the process - this was really appreciated as we were feeling totally out of our depth. We ended up having little time between exchange and completion, with the dates only being confirmed the week before, and they worked so hard to get the purchase over the line. We have already recommended Bishopsgate Law, specifically Jasmin, to our friend who is buying a house. Thank you so much for all your help!
