We turned to Beightons for our house sale after our online conveyancers proved to be totally useless. It was the best decision we could have made. Right from the start Beightons were responsive and very quickly got up to speed and sent out all the paperwork required.
Communication was great throughout always keeping us informed of progress or concerns. Shout out to Arron and Niki who always kept us well informed, especially during the exchange and completion which had a few unexpected complications at the buyer ends.

Sent enquiries to this firm of Solicitors regarding an auction property their client was selling. The replies they gave were not only unprofessional, unhelpful, lacking any detail, the tone was an absolute disgrace. All they achieved was to alienate a potential buyer with their completely unprofessional approach to doing business. Probably one of the worst firms I have come across in the last few years.

We dealt with their conveyancing team during the a house purchase - they represented the seller of the property we intended to purchase.
Some of the responses to enquiries/emails we received from their staff member(s) were unprofessional to say the least. Now I am not a trained legal professional but common sense would dictate a basic level of professionalism when formulating emails - which they seemed to lack. The particular member of staff who we were disappointed with was Ally.
As first time buyers the house buying process should be enjoyable, unfortunately this was not the case and the belittling attitude they displayed towards my partner and I made the process more stressful than it needed to be.
Putting this information out there to help others make an informed decision when selecting a company to undertake their residential conveyancing, as we certainly would not pay for services who represented us in such an unprofessional manner.
N.B: as you can see, this review doesn’t seem to be the first of its kind, there are various other Google reviews commenting on the incompetency and rudeness of their staff…

I have used Beighton's Solicitors 2 times and it was Ally Leiper who was assisting me on both occasions. I must say i will give 5 stars for their service and the way they have handled. Specially with 2 nd conveyancing i have faced some unexpected complications with sellers which was managed by Ally in very professional and efficient way. I cant get into details but on both times Ally have protected my interests and requested the sellers to do things in different way to avoid any complications in near future. I can say Ally will be my lifelong solicitors when it comes to selling and buying comes along. Thank you Beighton's and Ally.
