If I could give BB Council no stars I would. If would be easier to raise Lazarus from the dead than to get through on the phone to the Council. To date my longest wait was 38 mins before I gave up. I have been trying for 2 weeks to get through. Their website says calls answered within 20 secs!!!? What a joke. I have tried email. Replies expected within 10 days. What a joke. Never is the correct timescale. Perhaps they are all away on their hols with kids? Perhaps they just don't answer and then go home on flexi time at 11.00am? Who knows. I have never experienced such a diabolically bad service. Why are the executive's paid so much. Are they even aware how poor their customer service is? I doubt it.

Placing signs up with no filming does not make it legal for you to make a law on your own.

Utterly useless. No responses ever or any topic!!! All they care about is sending you the council tax bill and giving themselves pay rises.

Absolutely appauling!

Bedford Borough pride themselves on helping the community and residents of the area but cannot even be bothered to reply to emails within a 3 week timespan, or even pick up the phone. Very quick to send horrible letters and make you feel like you're in the wrong but seem very reluctant to take accountability for their mistakes. The only advice I can give is to not trust a word that has been said to you by this organisation.

I think you need to educate your company drivers! First of all getting cut up majorly by an overweight rubbish collection transit (EU19MZT) and then a bin lorry driver with poor driving, all in one day!!

Extremely abusive officer from building control who was threatening me in my home for non compliance when all inwas doingwas tryingtomeet regulations. Despite my dping everything for the last 10 weeks to meet their requirements which change and contradict on a daily basis. The officer refuses or is not capable of giving clear instruction. When asked the department how to raise a formal complaint, it was investigated between 6pm and 845 am the next morning and closed I was not even asked what the complaint was, The department manager threatened me with court summons. All i have attempted to be is complaint. He shouted that i shouldn't have even asked for regularisation! I guess i will now be persecuted because i dared to call his professional standards into question. Did you know you can avoid the Council and use a private contractor? Or, do as building control shouted at me, dont involve them! Utter joke and all they do is encourage bad quality of work rather than meet safety regulations.
