I have been helped by Louise Tomlinson, solicitor at McKenna & Co several times, initially in 2019 to draft a Will, subsequent to that, in relation to a very sensitive personal matter, and most recently in 2025, to re-draft my Will.

I've always found Louise to be kind and sympathetic, willing to listen attentively, as well as being efficient and professional. I have enjoyed working with her and always felt I was in trusted hands.

Most recently, Louise was also an important source of information and advice that led me to make further enquiries and stopped a potentially problematic issue developing regarding my estate.

Michaela at BJ Mckenna & Co is very experienced in LPA matters and Wills.
Within the past twelve months she has set up an LPA for my sister and for my wife and I, she has set up our wills in order to reduce the impact of care home fees if that occurs in the future.

She is also able to visit if necessary.

I am very satisfied with my house sale. Jodie & Janet had been very helpful right from the get go. They have been very very efficient, I honestly couldn’t say how happy I am with the service they have provided us.

We had a very difficult time with our buyers solicitor. The buyer was a cash buyer & as you can imagine you’d have thought the process would have been quick! But their solicitor delayed the sale process for 7 months!!

Jodie had been onto them day in-day out consistently pestering them for an update throughout the whole process & she had always managed to update me each time she had made an attempt to contact their solicitor. Once we got to the end of the process, she did the exchange of contracts and transfer within a few hours. - ringing me to update me on what’s happening.

I honestly couldn’t be happier with the service we got from her, as she was constantly on the ball each step of the way. I would 1000000% recommend her and this company 10 x over. I will DEFINITELY be using these again for the purchase of my next house.

I recently wrote a review on my house sale about the amazing experience I had with Jodie & Janet. (Had to create a new account to write this review as I couldn’t not write it!!) And I never thought the experience would get any better. But guess what? It has!!!! Me and my partner put an offer on a house and it was accepted on the 25th Jan.. We have now collected our keys on 27th Feb… it took only 1 month from offer acceptance to keys in our hand & we are extremely grateful that we had Jodie as our solicitor. All my friends / family & other people included in this sale were shocked with how fast this process has gone. Obviously not all house purchases / sales are as quick as this as other complications can arise during the process, but either way - I would HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend using this company - especially Jodie as she knows exactly what she’s doing.
