We can’t express how grateful we are to Vani khanna at Axis solicitors. We have had such a hard journey in obtaining my partners visa. Vani showed empathy and kindness throughout the process whilst also making it smooth and easy to understand. She took care of everything for us and kept us updated with what we needed to do. We have obtained the visa after just only 7 months! We never expected this as people in our situation have gone else where and are still waiting for there visas! I had a disappointing experience. I was seeking clarity on my Skilled Worker visa situation, including an urgent question about my SOC code and future eligibility for ILR. Unfortunately, the solicitor appeared distracted (even mentioning being in traffic), and I felt that my concerns weren’t fully understood or addressed. I asked whether I should share my Certificate of Sponsorship for proper review, but was told it wasn’t necessary — even though I clearly had multiple concerns.

Immigration matters are stressful, and I needed careful, focused guidance. I didn’t feel listened to or reassured. I expected more professionalism and attention, especially for something as important as my visa and future in the UK.

Extremely disappointed with the ongoing lack of communication from Axis Solicitors’ Ilford branch. I’ve sent multiple emails over the past two weeks directly to Romana Kousar and have not received any response.

This goes beyond poor communication, I am still waiting for important documentation that I have already paid for. It is unacceptable that these basic client needs are being ignored. When legal outcomes are at stake, clients deserve timely updates and access to their case materials.

Contacted them about a matter over a week ago and informed them of the urgency of the matter. I have called and emailed only to be ignored and told “they’ll get to it”.

If you aren’t able to assist simply say so. SRA requires that you respond to clients in a timely manner and not leave people in a holding pattern
