I was really struggling with my mental health to navigate through my benefits issues, as it is quite difficult to find experts in the welfare rights field these days. However, this law firm impressed me knowing they have a professional advisor who specialises with helping vulnerable claimants, which I found rather unique.

Mr Lunt was extremely kind to give me some initial advice on my matter free of charge, and he put no pressure on me needing to commit to him representing my case as it was still in the very early stages of being resolved. We decided that just a bit of simple guidance/knowledge around the rules/process was all I needed, but I nevertheless provided a small gift to him for his time - purely because you do not often see solicitors with such intention to go above and beyond their usual obligations to help!

following my daughters pip tribunal i needed some legal advice, after contacting Astraea linskills and speaking with elaine and steven from there welfare legal team, i knew i had found the help i needed. i felt reasured and supported at all times and was always kept upto date with proceedings. elaine was amazing with answering emails and was always very prompt with getting any paperwork sent out, she has great communication skills and was always on hand if i needed any help relating to my daughters case. was a client of Mr. Steven Lunt at Astreaa Linskills in relation to a serious and long-standing legal matter involving disability rights, benefit entitlement, and public sector misconduct. Despite early promises of representation and evidence submissions, I was ultimately left abandoned by Mr. Lunt during a critical phase of my tribunal proceedings.

I had to handle my own appeals, evidence bundles, DSARs, and litigation without proper legal support, and my attempts to obtain accountability have been repeatedly ignored. I submitted a formal complaint on 8 May 2025 and a Right of Access Request on 19 May 2025 under the Data Protection Act and UK GDPR, which remain unresolved. As of July 2025, I have filed a lawful claim against Mr. Lunt and/or his firm, demanding full financial redress, damages, and return of all funds paid in relation to my case.

The distress caused by this experience, especially to a vulnerable client, is now part of an ongoing media investigation and may be raised in national press and documentary formats. This review is submitted in the public interest and based on provable, dated records.

An outstanding service from an outstanding team. Approached Astraea Linskills following a road traffic collision involving a friend who was alleged to have refused to provide a sample for analysis (blood), despite having clear injuries to upper body, chest and wrist, and the officer in charge and police healthcare practitioner NOT following embedded processes on the DD form. Nama and Kieran engaged specialist consultants and a Barrister on their behalf, and they provided significant weight for the defence. Both Consultants and the Barrister raised numerous concerns with the police process, and written reports were provided promptly to the CPS who did their best to ignore the elephant in the room for almost seven months. The case was brought to trial having been postponed and not only was my friend found 'Not Guilty', they were also awarded defence costs and left court with their good name and professional standing intact. From start to finish, the case took 12 months to progress from allegation to verdict, and Nama and Kieran were always available to chat.
